The restauration of this 18th century villa garden in the south of France has been an ongoing labour of love. I am fortunate enough to have this as a testing ground for many ideas. With the garden structure mostly in place, a swimming pool, Olive grove and Italianate parterre garden were placed within the stepped ‘restanque’ garden. All manner of Mediterranean plants and shrubs have their place here from Cypres, Citrus and Kumquat to Lavenders, Jasmins and Zantedeschia lilies.
